In 1993 I had the opportunity to
care for "Maurie," an elderly gentleman living with Parkinson's
disease. Little did I know, this man would change my life and the life
of others who cared for him. After three years of caring for this
gentleman in his own home, his family suggested that I share my "gift
of caring" with other families in Madison. The gift and vision became
Midwest Home Care in 1996, a compassionate provider of care to
senior citizens.
Today there are numerous homecare companies, many of which are
purchased franchises with aggressive advertising and marketing
campaigns. Midwest Home Care is not a franchise, but was proudly "homegrown" with the help of family, compassionate caregivers,
wonderful clients and others in the community. I have a personal and
sincere investment in my life's work as the owner of Midwest Home Care.
